Boston, 2169. (Or, what was Boston…) Etta arrives after her ill-advised trip in the White Tulip Machine that Peter built. The top picture is a set of thumbnails, which are useful for figuring out how you want a scene to go. They don’t have to be pretty, just informational. (If you ever do thumbnails for anything, a tip that can help you organize your ideas: draw them out of order, and make sure you have a mix of perspectives and compositions for your “shots.” Then reassemble them in the right order)

The second picture (posted here on this blog previously) is another version of the thumbnail on the bottom left. I prefer the color scheme of this one (it reminds me of Vancouver’s gray skies!)
