I hope I didn’t break any compositional rules with this picture. You are not supposed to lead the viewer’s eye out of the picture (that is, you are not supposed to have the area of interest drawing your gaze outside of the frame). Originally, the umbrella person was walking in the opposite direction. That is a compositional no-no, since he is so close to the edge of the frame. Hooray for digital art, layers, and Sketch Club’s “flip Y” function.
